Will be away for a week with my animation team. We will be going to Michigan to compete in Kafi 2009 in Kalamazoo Michigan(I know it sounds like a made up fucking city right).
Basically we have 4 days to make a 30 sec psa on a topic they will reveal. We will be competing with 9 other teams from different universities. Should be fun,exhausting, but fun. Yea I know what you guys are thinking-I am not an animator...true. I will be painting backgrounds/ storyboarding/ concepting and some in-betweening. The school was kind enough to pay for everything(Im coming back with so much shit on their dime haha), and the animation instructors took time to train us/show us some techniques. Well see how it all goes down...my illustration teacher(mark) already told us not to come back unless we win it ahah.
